I took these pictures at the Chelsea Flower Show several years ago. When I got off the tube at Sloane Square to go to the show I heard someone say to follow the crowds. After a few minutes I saw directional signs and got there early enough that I could walk right up to the exhibit gardens. These were the first flowers I saw.

Here are some of the floral displays I visited on that beautiful sunny day. I also brought home postcards, pamphlets and other souvenirs!
For someone who loves flowers (like me), it was an unforgettable experience. I’m looking forward to going there again someday…

So lovely. The wheelbarrow of flowers is gorgeous!

I’ve always wanted to go, for the experience. I’ve heard you can see more on TV if it’s crowded, but there’s only one Chelsea π π

I’m so happy to have gone to it – I even talked to some of the people who were interviewed on tv!

I always find public flower gardens to be a wonderful experience, but sometimes the crowds are too much for me. But the Chelsea Flower Show, oh my, I think that would be great fun even if there were crowds. I enjoyed your photos here, Meg.

Thank you Jet! I got there as it opened for the day so it was relatively quiet for the first couple of hours… π

Lovely!! I’m so ready for springπ I have actually planted the other day some seeds in a pot, hopefully I can plant them in the garden when they grow bigger.
