I first read Anne of Green Gables when I was eleven and always dreamed about going to Prince Edward Island. A few years ago I went there for a visit and it was as charming as I had imagined. In addition to the beauty of the island there are all sorts of places that have connections to L.M. Montgomery and her creation, Anne Shirley.
Here are some pictures from my summer visit to PEI.
And of course there’s Green Gables!

The rural charms of a rolling green patchwork of farms paired with a coastline of sandy beaches and cliffs adorned with lighthouses is a hard combination for visitors to resist. Thanks for sharing and have a lovely day. Aiva 🙂

This place is on my list of must-visits! As a Canadian, I am ashamed to say that I have been to Dubai but not to PEI. I must fix this once we can travel again.
