After a long winter the first spring flowers are back! This daffodil is from my garden and it was delightful to see its bright cheery color.

These violets were in the yard (but not the garden) so I suppose they should be dug out or mowed. However I think I’ll leave them alone for now – they’re so colorful.

More flowers are getting ready to bloom, and I say the sooner the better!

Such beauty. Have all my daffodils blooming. The little vilotes are growing in several places in my yard. I love them. This was my mother’s favorite flower and they always remind me of her. Nice post Meg.

I tranplant violets and put them under bushes in the yard so my husband does not mow them.

That is an excellent solution – I’ll have to try that here!

I love daffodils. Signs of Spring are starting to show here in Ontario, but unfortunately no daffodils yet. Soon though.

Wonderful signs of spring, Meg. We usually follow the valley by a month or so. I have one lonely daffodil so far, but more on the way. š š
