It looks like April is for showers AND flowers. After some rain a few days ago there are new places to see flowers. Here is a forsythia that’s in bloom in my backyard. The yellow flowers seem even brighter compared to the trees that still don’t have any leaves. It’s wonderful to share a picture I’ve just taken!

This is for the FOTD challenge.
The yellows are spring are wonderful! Personally, I enjoy blooming forsythia bushes.

So far all the flowers I’ve seen are yellow and I think it’s the perfect early spring color! The forsythia has lots of flowers and it is really cheerful. 🙂

There’s plenty of forsythia blooming in Sligo, too and it’s so nice to see those little beautiful flowers. Cheers and have a good day. Aiva 🙂

Forsythia is one of my favorites too – it has grown so much in the last year!

Forsythias are the bravest of all spring flowers – they come out knowing that there will still be a few cool nights. Lovely photo, Meg!

Such beautiful wildflowers. How nice to have these in your own backyard. We’ve had a relatively dry spring so far (although rain is on the forecast for later in the week) and our wildflowers have yet to bloom. Soon though. Can’t wait to get some spring hiking in to see all the wildflowers.
