This was a little unexpected – fresh new hydrangea flowers in September! These are from my front yard and I’ve enjoyed watching them bloom. It’s still warm with lots of sunshine and I hope they stay around a long time.

This is for the FOTD Challenge.
Beautiful!!!

What a wonderful surprise September gave you, Meg. These hydrangeas look like they just arrived for early summer. Lovely!

Thank you Rebecca! Seeing them made it seem as though it was June, not September… 🙂

That seems very late in the season, Meg. What a strange weather year. Everything is wacky in my garden.

Unrivalled in the shrub world for beautiful flowers, these elegant plants are certainly one of my favourites. It must be amazing to still see flowers in September, even my Gladiolus, who are still blooming when kids go back to school, have withered. Have a nice day 🙂 Aiva xx
