Now that it’s November these should be the last of the outdoor flowers. It’s much colder and the leaves are turning beautiful colors. Here’s a picture of some mums I saw on a walk a couple of weeks ago. I hope it won’t be too long before the flowers are back again!

Last month I took a picture of a hydrangea that had just bloomed. Here is that photo and another one I took of the same hydrangea over the weekend. There’s such a contrast! It’s been quite a year for flowers.

This was a little unexpected – fresh new hydrangea flowers in September! These are from my front yard and I’ve enjoyed watching them bloom. It’s still warm with lots of sunshine and I hope they stay around a long time.

While I was out shopping I saw this lovely crepe myrtle next to where my car was parked. It’s a bright and cheery color for the summer!

This spring has been a wonderful time for bright, colorful flowers. A few days ago the hydrangeas in my front yard started to bloom. Last year they mostly produced leaves, but now there are flowers like this.
Some are blue and some are almost blue…

While I was on a walk I saw these dogwood trees – one blooming in white and the other in pink – under a bright blue sky.

With just the right blend of April showers and and bright sunshine these azaleas are a cheerful sight in my front yard. I hope they last a long time!

It looks like April is for showers AND flowers. After some rain a few days ago there are new places to see flowers. Here is a forsythia that’s in bloom in my backyard. The yellow flowers seem even brighter compared to the trees that still don’t have any leaves. It’s wonderful to share a picture I’ve just taken!
